Aerospace Tapes --- Scotch 363 High Temperature Aluminium Foil/ Glass Cloth Tape

Scotch 363 High Temperature Aluminium Foil

An aluminium foil/glass cloth tape used as a high temperature, heat reflective, protective wrap for cables, fuel lines and other components in aerospace and industrial applications.

Tape 363 is light, thin, flexible, very conformable which lends itself to taping over irregular shapers and spiral wrappings.

A lap of tape 363 applied around wire bundles provides a strong and durable means of retention.

Tape 363 is also used to protect parts during thermal metal spray operations.

It combines the temperature and abrasion resistance of aluminium foil with the high tensile of glass cloth.

It resists most of the surface preparation grit blasting operations.

Fluid line identification labels on tape 363 are silk-screen printed in black in on their colour-coded background and cut into individual labels.

They stick at a touch when the easy-release liner is removed, yet hold in place at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) (see also tape 3633).
