EC 2174 is a heat curing primer for Scotch Weld film adhesives. |

| It is especially suggested for use with Scotch Weld Brand AF 31 film adhesive. |

| Specific data has been obtained with the AF 31 adhesive and can be found under the test results section of that data sheet. |

EC 2174, properly applied, offers the following advantages. |

| It insures complete wetting of film adhesives to adherend surfaces. |

| It simplified production scheduling by protectin the cleaned surfaces until the bonding operations can be completed. |

| Imparts improved corrosion protection to the metal. |
| |
| EC 2174 with AF 31 film adhesive, known as the AF 7431 system, is qualified to MMM-A-132 Types III and IV. |
